The common mistakes of nowadays Feng Shui Learners 1

Feng Shui has a long time history, it was mouth to mouth to continue this knowledge and there were no school for it. Our previous master confirmed that this knowledge was belonging to Royal Academic’s knowledge and which was challenging the God’s wish. Therefore our previous masters were carefully to choose their inheritors; they didn’t want to get mad with the God.

Since the new China coming, Feng Shui Master Tam Yeung Ng (???) was the first starting the distance learning of the Feng Shui. Consequently, in 1970 to 1980 period of time Master Tseng Chi Nam (???) in Taiwan also used this type of method to teach Feng Shui. Feng Shui was not that popular in this moment. As long as Master Song Siu Kwong (???) got invited to talk about Feng Shui in the television in Hong Kong around 1980 to 1990, Feng Shui became more popular. Feng Shui classes were booming. More and more people know about Feng Shui. New masters and practitioners were coming out within half to a year. Some of them were below age 20. Everyone who has a Chinese Compass can call master. More and more people immigrate to the other countries before 1997, the Feng Shui believes starting the root into the worldwide, and some of the Feng Shui knowledge was translated into different language.

From the optimistic point of view, this way can make the Chinese Ancient knowledge become more popular and let us have more chance to read more Ancient Feng Shui Books (supply and demand). From the pessimistic point of view, due to the lack of proof references of the Feng Shui principle before teaching Feng Shui, it is same as a blind person leading another group of blind people to cross the road. You can imagine how danger it is. As a result, Feng Shui will end up with the wrong direction and the true knowledge will be disappeared.

While I was learning Feng Shui, most of the real masters were hiding in the society. Some of them preferred to work in different area instead of Feng Shui field; they didn’t want to help or taught the wrong person. They only taught someone they really trust. It is because there is a “Universal Lawâ€‌ that the real masters need to be followed. On that moment to find a real master was not that easy, money was helpless. If you don’t have a wisdom eyes, you never found the real master. If you were not humble enough, you never got a chance to talk Feng Shui with them. Although they let you got into the door, you never had a learning schedule. When the master taught you one theory; you needed to apply it into other theories. You need to spend a lot of time in digestion. As a result, those graduate masters had a solid foundation but weak in system of teaching. Because they were hard to get the knowledge, they preferred to keep it secret. That is the problem for us to learn Feng Shui during that moment.

Nowadays Feng Shui seems has a better system, and every Feng Shui class have a similar syllabus. If you are dare to ask those teachers, which principles they are teaching were getting any proof results, most of them can not answer because they were just copying either from the book or repeating their masters’ materials. When the students asked some deeper question that they do not know, they would give a wrong answer for them, or create a new concept of Feng Shui. They were guiding their followers into the wrong direction. But who care?

For the reason of the money talking world, marketing is the key to success but not the skill. A lot of Feng Shui learners claim themselves as a Feng Shui master and giving Feng Shui seminars to the public without any proof of their knowledge. They do not want to miss the hot Feng Shui market. They try their best to maximize the profit in this hot market. Base on their own benefit, the different schools has the argument, the masters and their students have the argument. The Feng Shui new comers are hard to deicide who they should follow. That is the problem for nowadays Feng Shui learners.

Since the end of 1972 to the beginning of 1973, I started to learn the Chinese metaphysics to the time that I taught I-Ching in the continue education of Chinese University in Hong Kong. There were 17 to 18 years of time; I have the confidence to say that I do know which the fault Feng Shui is. The knowledge that I taught my students was proofed by me. You will find it out when one day you get the chance to learn from me. You are welcome to compare what you have learnt before.

How to choose a real master is not difficult; the most important is having the right attitude to get into the Feng Shui field. What kind of person you are will attract what kind of master get into your life. Furthermore, all the real masters have a clear linage; they don’t like to argue with the others. They are more humble and don’t like to show off. They will give you the proof for their knowledge. When you apply his knowledge, you will get at least 80% accurate in the result. They will more selective for their clients and students. If you find this kind of symptoms in your masters, you can follow them to confirm whether they are the right masters for you or not.

As the old saying in Chinese, "Open your wisdom eyes to select better than use your ears to select."
