Chinese Compass, we call it Lo Pan or Lo Gann, is an important tools for a Feng Shui Master. In this episode, I will visit a famous Lo Gann manufactory.

This manufactory is located in On Fai. If you do some research in Feng Shui history, there are a lot of Feng Shui master living in On Fai in the pass. Every master needs at least one Lo Gann, deal to the supply and demand theory, On Fai became as the famous Lo Gann producer, and their products were very famous since Ching dynasty.

If you look at the compass they did, you only see the round dish and did not see the square support, this is the original style of Lo Gann. You need to have a special skill to use this original Lo Gann. From time to time, the Feng Shui master felt that was not connivance, they modified it into the Lo Gann has the square support.

The producers still use the old technique to build up the middle needle and the round table dish. If it compares with the modern technique, their products are more trends to the decoration purpose rather than its function.

If you go to the Chinese, don't forget to buy one for your decoration purpose.
