Joseph Yu’s secrets 2Mistake in Trigram name - Xiao Chu 小畜After comparing those two posts, I guess all of you will find out where Joseph Yu had changed in his post.
Joseph Yu’s first post on 2012/10/6
The post after correction on 2012/10/31
That’s right; his change is:
“The hexagram I used was Zhong Fu 中孚 (Xun on Dui) with Line three moving to
Da Chu 大畜(Xun on Qian). “
to
“The hexagram I used was Zhong Fu 中孚 (Xun on Dui) with Line three moving to
Xiao Chu 小畜(Xun on Qian).”He will declare that it was a typo, but please remember that on this is a critical moment; so if his I-Ching is as good as his claimed, then fatal error like this should not appear. From the date (2012/10/6) he post that article to the date (2012/10/27) I exposed his mistake, there were 3 weeks for him and his students to correct the error!
Furthermore, we can see this is not a careless typo mistake because he wrote the Gua (trigram) in both Chinese and English. If that was a typo, he would already realize the error when he translated the Gua from Chinese to English.
There is only one reason to explain his mistake:
Joseph Yu is not familiar with the name of Gua, which totally reflect his ignorance and weaknesses in I-Ching.
There is an old Chinese saying, “See the minor behaviour to foresee the major personality 見微知著”. Thus, we can foresee that most of the course materials developed by Joseph Yu or his Feng Shui Research Center may contain serious mistakes. (To be continued……..)
