My Feng Shui researches 2 - Master Chang's 蔣大鴻Grave and his story

Our previous Master Mr Chang Tai Hung蔣大鴻 was born in 1617; he started learning Feng Shui from his uncle when he was around age 20. The first 10 years he concentrated in fully understand the principle of Feng Shui. Another 10 years he did the researches to verify his Feng Shui knowledge. The last 10 years were using to polish his skills to reach the top. His learning path in his early age was not that smooth, he had faced 3 times to change his parent’s graves until he met his master, Mo Keig Tsz無極子. Finally, he found the right place to bury his parent in Yiu Shui 姚水.

As in the other article I mentioned that he collected 5 real Feng Shui books and published them under the name “Dei Lei Bin Jing 地理辨正” with his explanations. During that moment everyone was learning and using the “Ping Sha Yuk Cheir King 平砂玉尺經” theory in the Feng Shui field. If a Feng Shui master did not read this book or he did not use its theory for the Feng Shui consulting, this master would be pushed out of the Feng Shui field by those so-call Feng Shui masters. The situation same as nowadays - if you are not flying stars master, you will be also pushed out of the Feng Shui field by all so-call masters who only know Flying Stars.

Master Chang dared to challenge those so-call masters, he analysis the mistakes of “Ping Sha Yuk Cheir King 平砂玉尺經” in “Dei Lei Bin Jing 地理辨正”, which totally shocked the Feng Shui field. His Feng Shui technique was called, “Yuen Hoong元空”. Once you have read Master Chang’s “Analysis Misleading Articles 辨偽文”, you will understand Master Shum’s Yuen Hoong (Flying Stars) was not equal to Master Chang’s Yuen Hoong because Flying Stars system against the main concept of Master Chang who use to judge the right and wrong of “Ping Sha Yuk Cheir King 平砂玉尺經”. Therefore Fly Stars is not Chang’s Yuen Hoong which is very clear.

After “Dei Lei Bin Jing 地理辨正” was known by the Feng shui field, some Feng Shui masters needed to survive, they either attached their techniques and knowledge to Chang’s book or bad mouths of him. Some masters even counterfeited Master Chang or his students to teach Feng Shui or do as Feng Shui consultants.

Master Chang had no way to stop these kind of situation, that’s why he said, “Our universe is big enough to absorb anything, but I fear those fake Feng Shui Masters are using his fake knowledge to conk the public and benefit themselves but harm the public. Their fake Feng Shui books will poison the new Feng Shui followers. That will totally destroy the Feng Shui knowledge. That is the reason why I cannot be silent and hope the smart Feng Shui students realize it. 天地之大，何所不容，但恐偽託之人心術鮮正，以不正之術謀人身家，必誤人身家，以不正之書傳之後世，必貽禍於後世，僕不忍不辨，惟有識者察之。”
Master Chang also told his student, “If there are some outrageously arrogant Feng Shui masters or students who against me by attacking my knowledge, which means that they have evil minds and hidden bad karmas, please don’t argue with them.”



It was because Master Change selected his students carefully and he always mentioned about the Universal Law forbidding the public getting the secret of Feng Shui.
Therefore most of his students were not need to use Feng Shui to earn their livings, and then they would not sell the Feng Shui secret because of the money.

Master Chang’s conducts make me highly respecting him. In year 2005 I got a chance to do a research on his grave in Siu Hing with my in-house students. We followed the map that we found in Master Fan’s book to do this research.

We based on the instruction of Mr Fan and spent 3 days to use different kinds of method to local the actual position but fail. Either the environment was similar but direction was different or direction was correct but environment was different.





As traditional saying, “Trusted everything in a book, it is better without a book 盡信書不如無書.”

I always admire some masters who dared to claim that they have learnt Feng Shui from a book by self taught. May be they were abnormal or they were supermen.

Although we could not find Master Chang’s grave deal to the change of the environment, but at least we followed Chang’s steps to Sei Ming Mountain四明山 to clarify that why Master Chang chose to live in Yoek Ye若耶 and enjoyed the environments there.
