7 A qualify masters should select their students.
A qualify master to make his living is not that difficult, he don’t need to take Feng Shui as his career, especially he needs to put the fame and wealth aside. Otherwise he can not reach the top of the knowledge.
In the classic Feng Shui book, it states that, “Although as close as father and son, it cannot disclose the secret of Feng Shui. 父子雖親不肯說.” That is not because of no money involved, it is telling us that the qualify master should select the right student to transfer the real knowledge.
Inside the private copy of Master Chang’s book, Master Chang also clear to explain which son can learn and keep the private copy and other son can’t.
The rules inside the private copy explained that only Chang’s elder son, Wei Kai, and his offspring allowed learning this true Feng Shui knowledge, the rest of family members could not.
Inside the preface of “Yuk Ham Tung Bei 玉函通秘”, Master Chung Fai Nam explained how did his master, Chung Kow Wah, learnt from a Taoist. He also explained that his master didn’t let his son to learn and his master’s son need to learn it from him. This is totally showed that the real master was following the rule of “Although as close as father and son, it cannot disclose the secret of Feng Shui. 父子雖親不肯說.”
Nowadays, when you type “Feng Shui Master” in yahoo search, you will get more than 7,900,000 records; you can see how many people abuse Feng Shui.
Some so-call masters even announced that they believed the Feng Shui knowledge belong to everyone, therefore they would like to share their knowledge to everyone. They also appeal the other masters to share their knowledge. Well, they are so great! But in fact, that is only showing that they don’t have the real Feng Shui knowledge in hand.
